OVERVIEW
Connex required a more flexible and cost-effective alternative to its existing platform, alongside an ongoing managed service. The project involved sourcing a new suitable learning management system, migrating all users and content, and modernising the course catalogue. Within three months, over 100 existing courses needed to be rebuilt, alongside the development of new modules.
ACTION
Following a requirement review, we recommended migration to LearnWorlds for its enhanced functionality and lower operating costs. We managed the full transition, migrating 100+ courses, exporting assessments and H5P content, and rebuilding materials in Articulate Rise before publishing to SCORM. To ensure consistency across legacy and new courses, we also created a new Rise template. We now provide ongoing platform management, including user administration, course updates, first line technical support, and query resolution.
IMPACT
The migration reduced hosting and support costs while improving service performance, with an average query resolution time of under 30 minutes. What began as a short-term consultancy has developed into a long-term partnership, supporting a growing user base of more than 30,000 learners.
