OVERVIEW
We partnered with Help for Heroes to develop a suite of online self-help courses covering wellness, financial planning, nutrition, and sleep. Designed for veterans and their families, the courses needed to be accessible anytime, on any device. Although delivered within a budget framework, the charity required each course to be visually engaging, technically robust, and highly interactive while remaining simple and intuitive for a diverse audience
ACTION
We have developed more than 10 courses using Articulate Storyline. Help for Heroes maximised their budget by leveraging in-house subject matter experts to create structured, comprehensive content based on our guidance and templates. Our role included light proofreading and copyediting, followed by the design and development of a blend of custom and templated interactive elements to enhance learner engagement. We also produced supplementary resources such as journals, booklets, and handouts using Adobe Creative Cloud to extend learning beyond the screen.
IMPACT
Courses were reviewed during development by individuals with lived experience, generating consistently positive feedback. Now hosted with open access on the Help for Heroes website, the courses provide vital, flexible support to veterans and their families. Our collaborative approach has fostered a strong, ongoing partnership with the Help for Heroes team, who value our flexibility, responsiveness, and quality of delivery.
